17-days Savannah Special safari will take you most famous Uganda destination which includes Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking and all Uganda National Parks for nocturnal animals like Leopards, Lions, Cape buffalo, birds, chimpanzees and mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Day 1: Transfer to the booked accommodation

On reaching the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel in Entebbe town by our company guide for overnight and dinner. Hotel: Lake Victoria View Guest House (BB).

Day 2: Ziwa Rhino sanctuary & Kidepo NP

Early Morning after breakfast, will drive to Kitgum town as we break off to Kidepo National park. Along the way will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for White Rhino tracking and this is the only place to track the White Rhinos in the wild then have lunch on the way from there then proceed to the hotel in Kitgum town for check-in. Day 3: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park

After breakfast, will drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, along the way we shall meet the local people to see their way of life like the Karamojong culture then proceed to the hotel for lunch. Will have an evening game drive within the park where you will view different animals that are found in Kidepo like Giraffes, elands, Reed-bucks, impalas, Ostriches and others. Return to hotel/lodge for dinner and overnight. Kidepo Savanah Lodge (FB)

Day 4: Game viewing in Kidepo Valley National Park

After breakfast head out for a full-day game drive within the park to see a lot of animals like Lions, Giraffes, elands, Buffaloes, elephants, impalas, reed-bucks and on lucky days, you can also see the cheaters. If time allows, you will visit the local village around the lodge and then return to dinner and overnight at the lodge/hotel. Kidepo Savanah Lodge (FB)

Day 5: Transfer from Kidepo valley to  Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, will drive to Murchison Falls National park, we might have lunch on the way or at the lodge depending on the time of arrival. If time allows, we might have an evening game drive in searches of animals like giraffes, antelopes, elephants, buffalos, and beautiful birds and there are high possibilities of seeing cats like leopards and lions. Day 6: Murchison falls Boat cruise on River Nile

Breakfast is served, and after we will go for a game drive to view animals like Lions, Elephants, Giraffes and others. Come back for lunch at the lodge then embark on another safari boat cruise on River Nile where you will be able to see crocodiles and beautiful birds in the afternoon view the falls from the bottom then hike to the top. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight. Pakuba Safari Lodge (FB)

Day 7: Game drive and launch trip on River Nile

Immediately after breakfast, you will have a game drive around the park or a boat trip to the delta point on River Nile where the Victoria Nile joins Albert Nile. Have Lunch then cross over with a ferry to Hoima town for the overnight and dinner. Hoima Cultural Lodge (FB)

Day 8: Transfer from Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, will take a drive towards Kibale National Park which is famous for holding the largest number of Primate species (13) and beautiful endemic forest species like Uganda’s Green-breasted pitta and on our way, we shall see the local people and villages. If time allows, will go for a nature walk around the lodge to view different species of birds, and local people then Return for dinner and overnight at the lodge/hotel. Kibale Guest Cottages (FB)

Day 9: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park

You will do Chimpanzee trekking i.e. the closest cousins of man either in the morning or afternoon, have lunch and go for a community walk around the Bigodi area where you will interact with the local people living around with their different cultures. Return for dinner and overnight at the hotel or lodge. Kibale Guest Cottages (FB)

Day 10: Transfer from Kibale Forest to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Early in the morning after breakfast, will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is the second largest savanna park in Uganda with different vegetation types and animals, and crossed by the Equator. On the way, will stop for photos at the equator and then continue to the lodge for lunch. then have a game drive in the evening to view the animals like lions, Uganda kobs, elephants, buffaloes and warthogs. Day 11:  Morning Game drive & boat cruise on the Kazinga channel

We shall head out for a morning game drive after breakfast to view animals like Elephants, Lions, Uganda Kobs, Warthogs, Buffaloes, Bush-backs, Duikers and some beautiful species of birds than an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel where you will see many birds and aquatic animals like Crocodiles, Nile monitor lizard, Hippos, Water Birds like Perricans, stocks, cormorant and other species of birds. Dinner and overnight at Kasenyi Safari Camp (FB).

Day 12: Queen Elizabeth National Park

After morning breakfast we shall drive to the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park (Ishasha is famous for tree climbing Lions) Have lunch, do another game drive in the evening looking for the famous tree climbing lions and also other animals which are not in the Mweya area, especially the topis, Birds, Water Bucks, Uganda Kobs, Elephants and others.   Enjojo Lodge (FB)

Day 13: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Forest National Park

Today after breakfast, we shall do a morning game drive We will Drive to Bwindi National Park one of the two places (together with Mgahinga National Park) in Uganda where you can see Mountain Gorillas. After breakfast depending on which sector of Bwindi we are going to, we might first have a morning Drive and then proceed to Bwindi national park to Check-in at the lodge.

Day 14: Gorilla trekking Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After breakfast, will go for a short briefing at the park site organizing to go for Gorilla tracking. This is a memorable experience of getting face-to-face encounters with our closest cousins in the Tropical Rainforest. Which might either take the whole day or half a day alongside your packed lunch. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 15: Transfer from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi

Early in the morning will take a drive from Bwindi National Park to Lake Bunyonyi (meaning the place of very many little birds) which is the second deepest lake in Africa where you will reach in the afternoon and have lunch at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, will go kayaking or canoeing and also swimming for relaxation. Lake Bunyonyi eco resort (FB)

Day 16: Transfer from Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, will take a drive towards lake Mburo national park, the smallest Savanna park in Uganda and the most popular place to see the largest antelope in the whole world (Cape eland). Check in and have lunch at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, will have a boat trip on Lake Mburo and a night game drive late evening to look for nocturnal animals like bush babies, Galagoes, Leopards, Serval Cats and other animals that might come our way. Day 17: Departure

Will have a morning walk in the park with the ranger guide to get eye-to-eye contact with the animals. return for breakfast then drives to Entebbe for accommodation or departure depending on the flight schedule. End of service.
